About Receipt Audit

Receipt Audit is built and run by Godard Builds, an independent software studio. We build focused tools that do one job well, for people and for the AI agents working for them.

Why it exists

Faking a receipt used to take skill. Now an image model makes a convincing one in seconds, and AI-generated receipts went from almost none to most of the fakes expense-audit firms catch in about a year. Reading a receipt is cheap now; telling whether you can trust it isn't. Receipt Audit checks the numbers, the file and the image, and remembers every receipt it has seen (as a fingerprint), so a reused receipt gets caught even when it comes from someone else.

How we make money

The web checker is free for a few receipts a day. Apps and AI agents pay for API checks with prepaid credits. There are no ads, and we don't keep or sell receipts. See the pricing page.

Built for AI agents

An agent building an expense, refund or rebate feature can get a key on its own and start checking receipts in one request. The person it works for claims the account later. Details on the developers page.
